Transcendental Sonnet #1282:
I Yam What I Yam
and here I come
No point in explaining
I yam what I yam as Popeye used to say
No good in complaining
It never helps in any case
I have nothing to complain about today
The sunshine today is utterly brilliant
Lighting my eyes warming my face
My trees are blooming and I feel resilient
Though life may knock this Lucky Little Bastard down
My face was simply not created for a frown
I am going to get all I can
While I can get it
Better to die as a happy man
Than to regret it

when the sunshine is brilliant and the trees are blooming do you think it's better to live in the moment and enjoy it, or utilize that time to prepare for the time when the clouds cover the sun and the trees become bare?

'Better to die as a happy man'
what ever you say the instinct is human
cries aloud even if despairs are common
laughs a lot even the period of joy is just for a noon
life lives in death and death entwines life everything so soon
forget the past and let live to love the present it is a cool moon
