Full Version: Lesson Scorned

Mandy Wood
Broken glass in my hand,
cutting and biting deep within me.
Wounds so small yet so vast,
fighting to heal, losing viciously.
Barbed wire veins rust and infect.
Until life’s lesson is scorned.
+Steven Curtis Lance
I love this, Mandy. It doesn't seem weird to me, but, if it is, it's definitely a good weird.

I really do get it.

You're a very good poet!

I'm all done with my new book now, and it's out, so I hope to have more time to spend hereabouts. You're writing well, and deeply; I love to read your work.

Respect and solidarity, my friend and fellow poet!
