Me

I am all about emotion
Anyone who truly knows me
accepts this as fact
I live because I feel and
I feel because I live
I would like to be like you sometimes
Able to shut down, become unfeeling
Cold and unemotional
Then you couldn't hurt me
No one could
I'd be free
But then I realized that
I'd only be free to die
For without emotions, without feelings
What would be the point in living?
because I would no longer be me

I'm like you too.

I really understand what you're talking about here.

I love all your poetry. I have especially enjoyed these latest poems.

I'm so sorry I'm not around here more lately; I lost Silke, and it is all been so hard. I'm just trying to recover. I hope to do a better job of replying soon. I'm trying to get myself together.

Buck up little camper! It's is a tough game we play in love. Yet, like you said, living without love is not living at all. You deserve better. Everything will fall into place for you. Have faith and keep your senses about you. There is a lot more life for you to live if you just keep your eyes open. And yes...I loved the poem, too. I like all of your writes. When all else fosakes you your God-given talent will remain. That alone is worth living for, is it not? Thanks Michelle for another great poem.

Thank you both so much. It helps alot knowing that others appreciate my writings like you two do. Your words of encouragement and praise help to lift my spirits when it seems nothing else can. And yes, it is a comfort to me knowing that I am still able to create my poems. They help with all the emotions that I just can't seem to express any other way.
Thank you again,
Michelle
