Young Gun
Little boy, a cowboy hat Cap gun on his side Cowboy boots, a marshal’s badge And away he did ride On his steed called thunder Law and Order, for which he stood Trail of dust, mud and blood To catch’em if he could Stop, in the name of the law His voice rang loud and clear I’ll take you in, dead or alive Folks won’t shed a tear Eyes drawn tight; spit on the ground Hand on his hip, silence abound Outlaw drew first, with lightning speed Marshall was quicker, this day indeed His match was met with a fatal blow Away on thunder, the Marshall road Back to town with this man of no good Riding his pony made of wood Copyright ©2004 JWB |
