Welcome, one and all to the poetry board, where a growing community of talented poets becomes stronger everyday! The rules are simple. Post your poetry. That's it. As long as there is a civil atmosphere, there will be no issues to address, and we welcome you with open arms! Many poets have found friendships and confidants here; may the same be granted to you. The first step is just to post what you have, or post commentray on another's work. Do not be discouraged from posting your work here. Chances are, it's better than you think! So take the plunge, have fun, meet new people . . . You won't be sorry!

Recently, we have been under the attacks of a flamer or flamers gone under the guise of Unknown(s). For those who do not know, a flame in an unwarranted, abusive post aimed to maim its recipient. These will not be tolerated. We have moderators working toward a solution to this problem, and you can be assured that your work will be safe from such attacks under our watch. Do not let the ramblings of an angry man/woman discourage you. If a problem with a flamer occurs, please contact one of the following moderators: Hey Hey, Windowmaker, rosediamond, Global Moderator Franziska, or Poet in Residence +Steven Curtis Lance. If you are a flamer, and do not agree with having your posts deleted for any reason, please contact me.
