A single shred of dignity

I wish I would find a single shred of confidence
Or that I would find a single shred of competence.
Though, my quest for sanity have foreseen my insanity
As my disgust and loath for humanity greaten

A wise man once stated that hate comes from the heart
But disgust, loath and abhor comes from the mind and reason
Yet what is the most abhorrent and impertinent slur.
Loath that comes from flaws and errors
Or hate from wanting, wishing, desire them

I covet to find a single shred of competence
A single shred of a never bending will of steel.
I covet to find a single shred of confidence
A single shred of pride, dignity and reason.

Is that too much to ask?

I love you so much, Silke...

I just wish I could make it better somehow.

If love could help, it would.

I feel so inadequate...

I'm always here, such as I am, and all for you

Always
Always
Always

...and I still believe, because I have to believe in order to keep from despairing, that

AMOR VINCIT OMNIA

is, was, and will be true...

Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est.

Stunning work Silke as usual.

But in trying to grasp the last shred of dignity you are also guilty of not letting go

What is it to be ?
That must be up to the individual or the individuals around them to make that decision.
We invoke our surrounds and it gives us choices, without a choice there would be no life,

as the chick who breaks through the shell of its egg, the choices are clear, stay in and perish yet this option before meant life, or break out into the alien environment and try and survive.

Arent you glad you're not a chick ?

-just a thought

Namaste

You are quite competent and dignified, ma'am. And don't let anybody tell you differently!

Much Love,
Megan
