The Summer Birthdays of My Three Children Birthday season is over for this year We had a good time and we kept the days With many a laugh with nary a tear To remember all three of them always Three days to mark three lights against the dark If I never amount to anything Except for the part which I played to bring These three good souls into this world behind Me and that they lived loved and understood What is truly important then my mind And spirit have not sojourned here in vain Out of my sufferings will come great good As what was best of me will live again The best of me beyond the rest of me *~ ( + ) ~* Maria, 30 July; Stevie, 16 August; Teddy, 21 August +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMIV Silke LLC |
