Thank you for creating and sharing this neural haiku with us. You could write a whole series of these, you know. I would certainly be interested in them, and I would learn from them.

I am also in "Sunny Southern California," as I see you are from your post signature. In fact, I am just about to go outside and take a walk in this nice weather. But, of course, I will take pencil and paper, and probably come home with a sonnet.

Thanks, misty and anonymust. The picture was intended to be a somewhat radiant fractalized mandala, but I think it lost something when I shrank it to 60 x 60 pixels.

The rules for haiku in Japanese are very strict, but are more liberal in English. Generally, haiku are (Japanese nouns are both singular and plural) 17 syllables; 5, 7, and 5 on separate lines, with a break in thought (colon or em-dash) after either the first or second line. You have captured the spirit.

Bonsai Haiku

Rain drench root and bud
Sun warm pot, bark, and branches:
Life and love on bench
