Dear Misty, dear friend and fellow-poet, I don't know how you could ever understand how profoundly I understand these your words, this your poem but somehow I know that you do; I could say this too and I do, and it is so gratifying to see that someone else feels this way too.
Just know that I understand. Also know that you have made a wonderful poem of this feeling; you have turned something sad into something beautiful. In this you have achieved alchemic transformation: you have touched the philosopher's stone, you have tasted of the miracle, the unity of all. You have flown, and that is what we poets do when we do this, when we practice our dark and secret art: we fly...
