Transcendental Sonnet #737:
At Destiny's Brink

Remember how in the early days
At the beginning of this wonder
When the miracle was first made manifest
We met there in the dark which always
Held us down and smothered us under
The worst yet we found in each other the best?

We are the best friends we have ever had
We are a miracle I know not how
We found each other but I am so glad
That we will always be together now

Nobody no matter what they might think
Can ever separate your heart and mine
As we embrace here at destiny's brink
Here where the light divides dark from divine
