Now, I have a problem with the lightbulb analogy. In essence, the claim is that humans are light bulbs and God is the electricity; Hence, we should be "vessels" or containers of God. But this appears misguided, to say the least. Our Being is an activity; it is not a thing. You cannot compare our Being to a vessel or a lightbulb; Our Being consists in activity, in a becoming. Hence, using the previous lightbulb analogy, we are the electricity (the activity), as is God. It is only through our small consciousness of our true nature, that we are God, that we are the Universe conscious of Itself, that we believe we are separate and/or mere vessels or containers of God. |

The light bulb allegory is in the context of him acting as a portal through which God returns to Himself. Their pages are full of Jesus jokes or zingers, intended to make the reader "wince" a bit, and hopefully think. These guys are heretics as far as Judaism is concerned. Theyr'e great Kabbalists though, good group clamidium.
The burnt out bulbs allegory more appropriately applies to the apostles. They all had very short life spans after receiving "the gift of tongues", or having their pineal gland activated. Funny how that worked. The one excpetion I think was Matthew, who retraced JC ' steps as a kid and young man to the east and India. The rest seemed to step in sh*t pretty quicky and died. Whereas JC seemed to go north once in eastern Persia, towards Nepal and Kashmir, thats when Matthew went south instead. The whole site's a good read and I've saved it to disk.
