Hello to everyone.

What is the difference between Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease? I ask this question because a lot of studies demonstrate the presence of the beta-amyloid in the vascular dementia and other studies suggest a strong interaction between vascular diseases and Alzheimer.

So it seems to me that no one knows yet what is the real difference between the two diseases, if there is.

Could anyone explain to me when you can diagnose VD instead of AD?
