Hi everyone,
I need to critique a neuroimaging paper, but have difficulty finding something that isn't 100% methodologically sound. Does anyone know of a paper that would lend itself to critique?
Many thanks!

Hi No-Idea,

Try a google search for neuroimaging papers!!

You should find at least one paper to pull apart.

Good luck!, and welcome to the site.

That ought to be pretty simple. Tons of neuroimaging papers are looking at pathologies of things like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's which have notoriously shitty sample sizes. Aside from that patient matching is impossible, so there is always something to criticize. All papers look 100% right when you read them and they may very well be. You really just have to ask what they could have done better. Most research is limited by financial constraints, so in general they probably could have done something better, they just could afford to or haven't gotten around to it yet smile.gif
