There ar so many disabilities out there that people aredealing with on a daily basis let us reach out become aware and step up to help those in need! I am starting a "NEW" thread I hope this works!
In hopes to spread awareness.... AIDS..famous former Basketball player who exhibited exteme courage and determination by coming forth about this deadly epidemic in hope to promote awareness about the AIDS virus in the 80's He had been diagnosed with the disease. since then millions of people have died from this deadly disease some basis facts you CAN NOT contract the AIDS virus from kissing ,hugging or using the same toilet seat as an infected person for so many with a disability is is important to the disable to be treated no less than anyone else. People with this disorder are no different they are just like all of us we are people first and we all have feelings that need to be considered at all times respect and dignity should be honered. This virus attacks the immune system breaking down the antibodies in a person system making it harder to fight off colds. You CAN contract the Aid virus by using dirty syringes if you deal or use drugs and share or pass around needles that have been affected with a persons blood or bodily fluid the virus is passed through a persons bodily fluid. The viruds can be passed from mother to child through Breast milk The virus can be contrated through sexual contact where semen or other bodily fluid can be present blood banks are very safe these days and most transfussions for surgeries and other procedured are made possible by blood banks or donating the blood themselves for their own procedure if at all possible this has decreased the risk dramatically of the virus being contracted through blood transfusions though there are some people who have contracted the virus in the past through blood transfusions.. I believe I also heard a case of the virus being passed through to a patient in denistry settings though this is also rare! I hope I callered all these facts properly in hopes to bring about awareness about this virus! This virus is a deadly epidemic in our country today! I feel it is immensely important to know the facts.... I encourage all to please practice safe and sexual relations with only one partner Having multiple partners can be very dangerous. Get tested!! Please this is very important in early detection there are drugs made available but to this date there is no known cure. Have your partner tested It is better to be safe than sorry. I am leaving a number for your imformation if you may have any questions about this! This is part of the awarness I am trying to promote if there is any erro in my facts please let me know. I hope you share this with you family and friends and remember a person with the virus is a beautiful person who deserves love and friendship. GET THE FACTS~ C.D.C.
