my name is tricia. 2 years ago i was diagnosed with CIDP. this is a nerve disorder that has weaked my legs. it started about 10 years ago, but no one could tell me what was wrong. i was a very cklutsy teen triping over air and stuff like that. i have walked with a limp for a number a of years now. and growing up like this people make fun of you especially when your in high school. since my diagnoses i have been through treatments which well gave me more pain then i had before. my legs hurt 24/7 they are very weak. i have a lot of trouble getting up stairs. rigth now i am still walking but i don't know how long that will last. i feel then getting weaker everyday harder to get out of bed.
i just wanted to share that part of me with all of you. thank you for listening..

Trish,

I kow what you have been going through with your legs. Too many times I have seen you with crutches from falls...You are so strong though! You dont let that stop you form living life to the fullest, though some ignorant people may tell you that yuo SHOULDNT bend and dance and walk. But, you know what is best.

I got a house with one level, no steps, like i promised you! To bad the air hockey tabel is in the BASEMENT!

Whatever happens in the future, we just cannot predict. All I can say with certainty is that you have ME, as your friend forever. No matter WHAT happens, no matter what becomes of ue! We will always have each other, that I know in my heart!

I love you girl, stay strong!

Love,
Dara

Tricia! Thank you for sharing your story with all of us here! I have learned alot and your courage ot share is amazing! I would also like to welcome you to our family here! You will find many wonderful people reaching out willing to be your friend! I can see just how much strength and courage you have!! How you live life to the fullest despite your disability! That does not make you a person! That is just apart of your life but you don't seem to let it get you down! You are so very lucky also to have such a wonderful friend as Dara! She is lucky to have you also! It is sad how some people can treat you so badly I can understand because I also dealt with a dibilitation disability as a teenage and was subject to the cruelties! It is sad but the strength you have gets you through! Ia m so glad you posted here and are part of the family!
I will pray that you gain more strength and courage to face this each day and maybe someday a cure will be found!!!!

Welcome again!

Love yas,
Chrissy
