Man and Manatee
As I could not eat The meat of a man The flesh of a big long dugong Would be too strong For me Too strong familiarity Wrong all along Nor could I eat Manatee meat Poor me In the breadline Not eating the meat But doing fine Though life is short if not for long Where the meat is beaten and eaten Our condition though fatal not serious But for manatee or man mysterious As it can be as we can see Man and manatee +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMXII |
