I'm a big time nerd, I love to study and do intellectual activities--but I sense that my lack of good memory and recall ability gets in the way of my passion and goal. I hope to one day do theoretical physics, but it is an immensely competitive field--and my memory only makes my chances worse.

I consider myself to be a visual learner and I'm relatively creative. However, I am definitely not an auditory learner, in fact- I have a hard time memorizing certain pieces of information. I was very embarrassed in my internship meeting with my physics adviser and he told me something 2-3 times, he asked me one minute later and I forgot!! I'm not stupid though, I am a straight A student.

Note: I often get tired throughout the day even after many hours of sleep (along with a couple of other symptoms). I suspect I might have anemia which is thought to interfere with memory (maybe I'll take Fe pills daily).

I had trouble concentrating before but I came upon this forum a couple months ago and I feel that it helped. Things I take now are:

3g Piracetam 4-5 days a week
1g Cholin 4-5 days a week
1 Multivitamin daily (I forget sometimes though)
1 fish oil daily (I forget at times as well though)
I've recently started to take around 2 cups of tea daily to help me stay focus as well

p.s. I'm very envious of those with very good or phenomenal memory /rant

You may find some benefit to adding pyritinol (for positively effecting auditory processing information).

You can add Deprenyl to get more benefits. Deprenyl is an anti aging medicine used to protect brain cells, improve memory and enhance longevity. Deprenyl is an effective medicine to Improve brain functions and to treat Alzheimer's disease.
