As the topic states this is my first time trying cognitive Enhancers and after looking through the web for a while i came up with this regimen:
-DMAE
-Ginko
-Piracetam
-Alph GPC
-Melatonin
-Choline
-Gotu Kola
-Acetyl L-Carnitine
-omega 3
-Coq10 W/bioperine

could anyone enlighten me as to any discrepancies or any additions that could be immensely helpful?
(i have read of the other raceitams but decided to start with this one as its most common and lightest of them)
thank you in advance any knowlegable input is greatly apprecieated

Fogot to add i am 21 years old and am phisically fit but am increadibly prone to quickly losing concentration. i do not wish to take any prescription strength drugs such as adderall
but would be really greatfull for for any alternatives.

Try using Aniracetam along with the Piracetam. Aniracetam is really beneficial when it comes to focusing and staying on topic whereas the Piracetam (for me at least) helped with creativity and memory recall. You can find a downloadable PDF on the Racetam family at the following link, and the actual site has a lot of information concerning Piracetam and Aniracetam on it: [ http://www.smartdrugsforthought.com/piracetam-research ]. L-Theanine is also a good item to take, as it helps with anxiety (something you might not experience) and is a gabaergic similar to Piracetam. When I was taking L-Theanine and Piracetam (before I included Aniracetam) I found myself feeling relaxed and calm while taking notes or having indepth discussions when i normally wouldn't (due to Social Anxiety).

You don't need to take choline considering Alpha-GPC is actually a choline source, and too much choline can cause depression. Alpha-GPC is the most concentrated choline out there, as far as I know, so you won't be needing to take any other choline sources. Melatonin is a nice relaxer, check it out, but remember it is often used in sleep aids so it could be counter productive when trying to study.

Considering your young age if you are experiencing focus issues I would highly advise you see a doctor to get tested for add, thyroid issues, or a B-12 deficiency before taking various nootropics. Diet and exercise are the most important factors to take care for ideal cognitive health...then you can try different nootropics to address any areas of cognitive concern.

Usage of Aniracetam along with piracetam is good. Aniracetam is an effective anti aging medicine to improve memory. Recommended dosage of aniracetam is 750mg tablet per day.
