If neurotransmitters are significantly reduced in AD patients, wouldn't neurotransmitter precursors via supplements relieve some aspects of the disease? Or is the axon to damaged to make any difference from the tangles? As in the synaptic vesicles do not reach the synapse in preparation for action potential. Or maybe for example replacement of the adrenal glands could elevate epinephrine.
