About you attract what you think.I know that is true to some extent, but what about the depths they take it to? You can watch the full movie here.

It's absolute bunk. The phenomenon is called "magical thinking" and is present in many early forms of religion. The idea seems cool; what we think and the so-called "energies" we exude somehow manifest as reality. Another example of this type of deal is a form of Buddhism called SGI where they think chant a certain phrase helps people to overcome barriers etc.
Consider the flip side though... if a girl is raped its her thought right? I mean she must have been thinking rape thoughts. Oh and hey... when a plane goes down, someone on board must have been having too many crash thoughts. It certainly feasible and too a degree supported that consciousness effects reality. I mean, when a new pharmaceutical comes out they have to determine it's efficacy in comparison to a placebo because placebo medicines do work to some degree. It really could be the power of the mind at work, although there are other possible explanations as well, based more in the behaviors that result from certain expectations. The secret though? It's a lie. The so-called science is a total misrepresentation as to what quantum physics entail as nearly anyone with a semester or two of physics could explain. It caters to people of low intelligence and education. The flip side of course is that it probably does make for happier people at times. I mean the power of positive thinking is real because we pay more attention to that which is positive and ascribe positivity to circumstances which otherwise would have been neutral. Theres alot to be said about the human ability to find what it's looking for. The "secret" provides a framework for these people to have hope and think things are better than they really are. If you don't mind living in a lie, then perhaps you'll find value in it. |

From Seth Speaks, thought precedes form: "No objective reality exists but that which is created by consciousness Consciousness always creates form, not the other way around" There is a logical theory expressed through the books. |

I'm down with idealism. In fact idealism is far older than materialism. Consciousness may affect or even create the world around us; however, this still doesn't translate into a law of attraction.

perhaps there could also be a law of "non-attraction". ever not be able to get into contact with someone and just want to talk to them more?
