"Though we may show a polite grin or camera smile at will, the zygomatic or heartfelt smile is hard to produce on demand. While the former cue may be consciously manipulated (and is subject to deception), the latter is controlled by emotion. Thus, the zygomatic smile is a more accurate reflection of mood" -A quote from a random website. Here is where you can find the zygomaticus major and minor muscles. kidport(dot)com/reflib/science/HumanBody/MuscularSystem/images/FaceMuscles.jpg My question is, what brain activity happens causing these muscles to make you smile? They are involuntary muscle movements, you cant control it, what is the code if you will your brain sees or creates making these muscles contract?I think you understand what Im getting at. (Where it says "kidport(dot)com" you are just going to have to replace it with a "." because I dont have enough posts to post links, and moderators I dont have enough knowledge in this field to have more forum posts but this is very important, please bare with me if you dont mind no disrespect!) |
