I am new to the racetams and wanted to share my experience and get some input. I am taking Piracetam. My first day I took 2400mg three times and one 300mg morning dose of Alpha-GPC. My head felt a little cloudy all day. The second day I took 1600mg three times and one 300mg morning dose of Alpha-GPC. I felt very confident and in control, but not really able to focus. Still rather cloudy headed. I noticed that the coffee I drank may have had something to do with the "mania" type feelings. Since then I have taken 800mg three times a day and one 300mg morning dose of Alpha-GPC for the last three days. I have felt cloudy headed and a weird sense of nausea. Caffeine alleviates the problem for a moment and taking an extra 800mg Piracetam helps some. I feel a slight pressure in my frontal lobe. I do not think the effects I am experiencing would be positive for study.

Today I am taking 800mg three times and no Alpha-GPC. I am not experiencing the clouded head feeling or the frontal lobe pressure or nausea sensation. I also have a much better focus. I have a mild headache, but not much more than ususal. I feel that the Alpha-GPC may have been giving me some undesired effects.

Has anyone ever experienced this effect from Alpha-GPC? Does anyone have any comments about my experience? Dosing? Suggestions? Anything? I am very interested in Racetams and have some Aniracetam on its way? I want to utilize the racetams for my studies. I am in nursing school and plan to attend Nurse Practitioner school.

What purity level Alpha GPC are you using? You may want to try a higher level purity Alpha GPC or switch to a different choline donor such as CDP choline or choline bitartrate.

I am using NOW brand. Not really sure about the purity.

I may try to go without the choline. I want to try the Piracetam by itself and then the aniracetam by itself. I want to get a feel for them. What kind of signs should I look for if I become deficient in choline?

Does Piracetam give you headaches? Is that something that can be remedied?

Back taking the Alpha-GPC. I really like the way it makes me feel when I take it with my regimen. It's funny how much difference a few days can make. I have cycled on and off with it and the days I take it I get an incredible sense of well-being. It's semi-euphoric for several hours. I want to try some of the 99% purity Alpha-GPC powder from CerebralHealth.com next. Those guys are the absolute best bulk powder suppliers IMO!

Christsean - Are you still taking the Alpah-GPC. I am just curious how it works long term. Also, are you taking it on an empty stomach?
