I'm curious to see how people describe their consciousness in words. Maybe it can help me come up with my own definition. smile.gif

Beyond definition, and yet still able to use definition to point at it.

because of our consciousness, we create ways to connect with other conscious beings through language, which is just an indirect form of telepathy. Enhancements to language, similar to switching from dial up to broadband internet, could theoretically lead to the notion of the universal consciousness that has been proposed.

blows my mind lol

Consciousness is what it is like to be a person.

The lowest level of awareness would be instinctual responses to stimuli. All life forms posess this. Then, the higher the life form, the higher the level of consciousness. I also consider it possible that the universe/multimverse may be a living entity--just too large for us to see how it all fits together.

Is being able to say and feel "i am" without words and realise that words became extremly useless to describe such state.
