Very similar to the paradox; however, the branching of the paradox indicates time, which I do not necessarily agree with, unless you define time as some sort of variable of relative positions.

Oh and as a side note, I recommend never taking upper div. quantum mechanics. The class sucks due to the fact that it is just a bunch of shitty math. It is much more interesting to only consider the implications.

BTW I personally believe that all of the implications of quantum mechanics have already been described some thousands of years ago in many different forms. Zeno's paradox breaks down to the fact that there is no such thing as an instantaneous rate of change (which to me implies that all rates are a construct of our perception, not reality, albeit a practical construct). This implies that you can either know the position exactly but not the momentum, or the momentum, but not the position. Plato's idea of the Realm of the Form, in which essence (potential) exists a priori to our actualization of it. In other words, there exists an infinite number of possible realities, but one only comes into the human realm through consciousness. The Tao states that the Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao, or rather that there is an essence which exists, and by observing the essence, you change the outcome.

In my opinion, all of quantum mechanics is simply rehashing things which have already been observed and know for thousands of years. The only difference, is that asshole Aristotle came along, and created "rules" of logic, and caused all of society to shift the focus from simple spiritual observation of the essence of existence, to quantitatively analyzing and putting names on things which cannot be named--like time.

I think I know what you're talking about this time...

Ever since I found out that quantum physics is based off of "isolated systems", which do not exist in nature; I have had less faith in it's ability to do anything for the understanding of reality, aside from what seems to be a mere coppout for what is not understood. No systems seem to be isolated in nature. Everything is interrelated. Quantum physics is an illusion based off of faulty reasoning.
