Every once in a while I will feel a pressure in what feels like my brain when I meditate. Sometimes it is in the front of my brain, sometimes I can control where it goes to and "channel" it to different regions, sometimes I can get it to encompass large portions of my brain. The other night, I was doing this while lying in bed. At first, my right back/mid brain and some left brain felt pressured. Then, I made two thirds of my brain from the back feel "lit up". Then, the front third leaving a small gap in between the two portions. And then a final last bit, and a small yet ripping pressure in a smallarea on each side of my brain between the back two thirds and front third. As this pressure was onset, I drifted into a sleep paralysis dream where I realized that I was dreaming but was unable to move. It was awesome going straight into the dream world consciously through the transition, but my question is... What the heck was going on in my brain! Is there information on conscious brain region activation?
