Hello in here..., just an introduction Options

I am a 57 yr old female with chronic CNS Lyme and other stuff, doing well, fairly stable on years of treatment, needing a better place to tune in, discuss things, ask questions and learn. I am an artist, dabbling with some writing and poetry, trained in meditation (I astound my nurse all the time, bringing blood pressure down or Ox up...) have previously done a lot with cognitive dreaming and so this place looks pretty interesting to me.

My name is Terri and I live in NC (US of A) on a small farm. I make art, organic veggies, raise guinea hens, have horses, and am miserable most of the time. I need to find my groove again, and put that record on to play. I do believe that meditation, positive thoughts (but not fake stuff...) REAL positive beliefs about myself can help me to heal in many ways.

My daughter is now raised, my time is opened up, if you read the article cited below, you will understand why I am needing to be here. I need to heal, and I need to relax, and I need to be in the company of others who will encourage me, supply info and tell me some great jokes.

I was a Lyme advocate for many years, then morphed into creating 'ticktoons' ..cartoons from the TICK'S POV...so I could get fairly political and speak up with some humor. I have branched out into dungbeetles now. Maybe I can get that one posted here...(not a techie at all)



What I know about medicine and politics and the court system I learned because I have this stinking disease...(see Psychology Today Sep 07 issue, type in search box "unlikely suspects")

That is what I am recovering from at this stage, much damage done emotionally, physically, spiritually etc...so I want to LIVE and be HAPPY and know that I am OK despite false allegations, which are really more damaging than true ones...
