I am yet to be impressed with a racetam...I find other factors far more influencing than what they offer such as sleep, hunger, and mood

Seems that some people are non-responders to the racetams and that others don't give them enough time to see results (it's usually best to give at least a couple of weeks to a month to evaluate efficacy). I have also found that some people really like one racetam over another based on individual neurochemistry and desired results. I was talking to a guy the other day who likes to take piracetam before he plays golf to help him focus.

word. would you be able to give examples like playing golf for each separate racetam? like taking the lsat - Phenylpiracetam(just as a simple example to compare each to each other based upon piracetam being good for some baseline common tasks within people)

Phenylpiracetam is the one almost anyone can "feel" and has documented positive effects on physical endurance and cold tolerance. It was banned by the World AntiDoping Agency for a reason. lol

I could give you performance comparisons from my own experience because I keep rigorous journals, but I'm not sure that would be entirely helpful as many people have vastly differing responses to these supplements.

I have noticed that Piracetam and Pramiracetam tend to be more pronounced over time, while Aniracetam is more immediately noticeable.

I would also wonder what dosage you were unimpressed by. I've noticed an internet trend toward subclinical dosing. 200mg of piracetam daily for instance, is pants.

I've noted the benefits that I get from Piracetam.

Orient mood toward a goal. Improves verbal & written capacity. Increases creative thoughts. Improves the flow of thoughts. Enhances intuition. Facilitates the elaboration of ideas. Increases attention span. Enhances auditory perception. Improves learning capacity, fluid intelligence and crystallized intelligence.

Oxiracetam has the same effects, but even better.

Racetams do nothing for me, unless I have been neglecting my health.

When my exercise, sleep and nutrition suffer, racetams are helpful. When I am practicing good habits, racetams greatly diminish my performance.

Why would this happen? Taking Fish Oil, Powered multi vitamin, b complex and a mixture of greens / protein drink combined with good excercise, a great diet and sleep seem to make piracetam work 10x better then otherwise.

I am young. When properly nourished, and maintained, optimal neurotransmitter levels are already established. The only place to go from there is down aka brainfog.

Definitely phenylpiracetam. Nothing else clears up focus like it does! (although I seem to be the only one who voted on this!)
