Hi all,

I am in the process of compiling a nootropic stack primarily so I can think more clearly in school and be more healthy/happy.

However, I am on the SSRI Escitalopram (Lexapro), and I am not sure what might interact with it. I know it blocks the reuptake of serotonin.

I have read about racetams like Aniracetam, which from what I understand is an ampakine and may interact with 5-HT receptors. I am most interested in Pramiracetam, which is apparently the most potent nootropic.

Some other compounds I am interested in taking are:

Vinpocetine
Huperzine-A
DMAE

Are any of you on escitalopram and using a nootropic stack? Do you know of any interactions? Any suggestions for what is the best to take for my purpose?

Thanks smile.gif

The SSRI dose is important in this equation. Watch out for anything that could cause serotonin syndrome. In fact I would not recommend taking any nootropics if you are taking your SSRI for a medical condition. That's not just because of drug interactions (not just involving serotonin effects), but also as the nootropic itself could produce effects or side-effects that could adversely affect that medical condition.
