I'm looking for a supplement that's increasing the REM sleep (deeper & longer sleep). I have no problem getting asleep, as I'm using supplements like Taurine and Glycine for this purpose.
I've heard that ZMA, GABA and Inositol might help. I have different sleep meds at home like Vallergan, Atarax and Tosinon, however, since most sleep meds messes up the memory I'm trying to stay away from them. I've also heard that Jamaican Dog Wood extract helps, is that true? |

I really like phosphatidyl serine, especially used transdermally. I remember my dreams a lot more and it doesn't tend to wake me up like, say, Piracetam. It is actually calming so helps me to get/fall asleep.

Also Calea Zacatechichi may be of some benefit. |

while in REM sleep they say thats when you produce the most vivid of dreaming. For me, when I take melatonin I usually always have vivid dreams and sometimes feel as if I am "stuck in dreamland." kinda weird...
also ZMA seems to make me dream like crazy, so i quit taking it lol..but for melatonin they say it is active at micrograms, for me if i take 6mg I notice real crazy dreams, 3 mg too but 6 mg, wow. |

REM sleep is not deep sleep.
Do you want to increase dreams or deep sleep?. Two opposite things. |
