Hello All,

I am new to the world of nootropics and the range of discussions on the forum has overwhelmed me !! smile.gif

I am 28 and planning to go into a tangentially different profession than what I got training for, which requires me to be ultra heavy on studies ( = memory, more memory, long essay writings, analytical: In that order). This is what I am trying currently:

Modafinil 200mg x 1

Piracetam 800mg x 2
Lecithin 1000mg x 2
Bacopa 250mg x 1
Vinpocetin 5mg x 2
Pyritinol 200mg x 2
Ginko 40mg x 2
Vit B12 1500mcg x 1
Inositol 150mg x 1
Benfothiamine 150mg x 1
Cr polynicotinate 200mcg x 1
Alpha lipoic acid 100mg x 1
Ashwagandha 250mg x 1
Multivitamin 1 x 1

Exercise regularly.

Everything went as usual for the couple of days but I guess Modafinil led me to sleep less and I discontinued after couple of days deciding to use it as per need basis. And it was worse than ever: I became sleepy all the time and recalling stuff became more difficult. Thinking process seems to go into slow motion! Additionally, now I don't even feel motivated to study !!! sad.gif

After hit-n-trial Piracetam came out to be the cause of sleepiness...

Some questions I am hoping to get answered...

1. How does the regime look like? Good, bad, ugly?
2. If good, what do I expect and approx. when?
3. Is there something missing in the regime? Is something redundant?
4. Are the doses all right?
5. How do I use this regime effectively? what time to take what doses?

Cheers
Mira

did you just throw all these together at once? the reason i ask, is because everyone reacts differently to different substances, so it's best to try them out separately to see what works and what doesn't. perhaps one of the nootropics in your stack is mitigating the effects of the others, and you wouldn't know. try one for a week or two, add in another, etc.

Yeah a lot of that stuff is synergistic. I would cut out a lot of that crap, and use the money to splurge on a good multi vitamin (I know yours is crap because you are taking 1 a day). You may want to add something like centrophenoxine as a good choline source to help out with the piracetam drowsiness.

I would check out Bio-logics Nutraceuticals. They have a bunch of information on their products and a nice line of cognitive enhancers....
