I was wondering which entheogens might be useful in an effort to expand creativity for painters?

I have heard several people mention mushrooms, but i have no idea which.

Andrew Gonzalez mention mushrooms, wish i knew which.

I any case, the type of entheogen I have in mind would not interfere with hand/eye coordination, but improve it perhaps, while creating a higher level of spiritual consciousness, even mild hallucination.

its more about why the creativity is expanded. there's supposedly many other routes than entheogens...........like trauma, or life experience in general, or in another sense knowing what you're about. I guess entheogens can help a person do such things, but I guess if that's the focus that you have going into such things then yeah, it may help.

Entheogens in themselves do not create levels of consciousness. They may assist in altering states of conscious awareness temporarily as they short circuit normal brain activity, but they do not assist you to raise any level of conscious awareness or alter brain activity permanently any more than flying in an airplane makes you an airplane or gives you the ability to fly a plane.

Well I suppose if you took enough to damage the brain and nervous system you could alter it permanently. But I wouldn't call brain damage or death a higher level of spiritual consciousness.

Yeah, but there's nothing like ecstatic experience once in a while to open things up and give a new viewpoint. When it comes to psychedelics, lysergic acid diethylamide is king. It has the lowest dosage for switching on and fewest side effects. That being said, it's my policy never to recommend any use of psychedelics. Advocation tends to backfire. It's an awesome and potentially life changing decision that only the individual can make after dilligent study.

I don't like the term "entheogen" because it implies the existence of divinity. Humanity and life are good enough for me. It's presumptious to demand more.

Absolutely avoid the true hallucinogens like the scopolamine alkaloids (jimson weed, angel's trumpet, or belladonna). They are counterproductive and dangerous.

I tried Salvia on the 4th July weekend. Had an Angel come down from heaven into my home. I experienced it in real time and space time. At work , talk later. I am still searching for something I can use while I paint in order to give me insight while I paint.

I think there are many people who claim to know these plants and really do not. I approached the plant from a sacred perspective, and thus, I experienced a mind blowing spectacle in my own living room. I even held on to the angel as it ascended to heaven through my ceiling. I was conscious of everything.

The plant will only give you what you put in. That why most people have crappy experiences. My experience has changed my life forever.

I believe the plant is indeed sacred. It is a portal to another dimension. I am almost jealous to describe what i experienced. Suffice it to say, an Angel came down from heaven into my living room, through me on the floor and enveloped me. I was totally aware. My brother in law is a shaman of sorts (native American).

I am a Christian. I prayed in the name of Jesus. Took a hit, and on the 23 second (he was keeping time), I was blown into hyperspace.

I have been taking some brain enhancing nutrients like cholin bitartrate and so on. But I believe that the plant will give those who do not approach it with sacredness an inferior experience.

Put another way, I was interacting with an alien force that i could literally touch. It was the most amazing experience of my life. I believe it is not a hallucination in the sense of a psychological fabrication.

I believe the Angel (alien-like), allowed me to interact with it.

The bible speaks of angels as having many forms, and since they are not human (this was most definitely not human), they may appear strange. This accounts for the incredible struggle I put up initially. I thought I was going to die. I was initially scared shitless.

The angelic entity had me in a sort of bear hug, and I could not believe the power and intensity of the experience. It loosened its grip then began to uncoil my limbs. It then projected images into my mind that i choose to kkeep secret because it is so original I do not want anyone stealing my story.

I went to a place where God dwells, and i was escorted back to my living room where I interacted with the entity in a most extraordinary way. I literally held on to the angels coat tails so to speak.

I am blown away. I am actually afraid to approach the stuff for fear of seeming unrespectful.

All I can say is , "I'll never be the same again."

God and his angels must exist. I used Jesus as the litmus since the bible says that is the way. A way of preventing alien or demonic forces from fooling one.

My experience required only a minuscule amount of Salvia. I believe this was due to the arrangement. The environment had Native American flute music, sacred smoke, and prayers to God.

I think American culture lends itself to unholiness or incredulity. Perhaps that is the reason many cannot accomplish an incredible experience. I do not mean to offend, but a real sense of the holy hardly exists in America. I believe this is a significant factor.

Ask yourself, "do I possess a sense of holiness"?

I am also not saying that you cannot experience things. I am just saying that the purity of your focus will determined the extent or magnitude of the experience.

Yes. The message is that there are sentient beings working under the command of God, that they are awesomely powerful, and that they have the ability to spontaneously appear. The actual apparition is a message in itself. I thrashed against it with the strength of a hero, to no avail. The spirit was maternal. It turned and went back to heaven in a kind of dignified and somber way. Basically, she was trying to tell me that getting to heaven is no joke, and that i should prepare myself.

I am actively purifying myself. I have been struggling with lust and fear of demonic entities, but the angel told me that i should not fear because God and his servants are more powerful. Also, it suggested that i respect women since they are a reflection of the divine nature. there is so much more.

I believe they will be part of a great harvesting of human consciousness. It is as if this world may be an incubation area for certain "faithful" human specimens. Thos who overcome will be taken away to a place where they will be immortal.


I believe the world is headed toward self destruction. At some point God will make himself manifest along with these supernatural beings. No one or no thing will be able to defend against them. They are intelligent and supremely powerful.

I know I said appear. These are almost 99 percent transparent, but they can be felt. My sitter says he was brushed by the entity as it approached me. Most people would have died of fear right there. I have a powerful spirit so i think that helps.

The transparent entity was so in real time, but it revealed more visual aspects of itself as projected into my minds eye.

I come from a line of seers. So it is not altogether surprising that i was able to interact with this being.
