I'm looking into combinations with yohimbe...even though it's labeled dangerous by some. So far by itself on a 1000mg bark capsule per day, I feel no edginess or health problems. I personally feel a aphrodisiac quality from it, and I rather enjoy that state of mind. The first thing that comes to mind is adding passionflower, but both having maoi qualities...I'm not sure if it's safe, although either one wouldn't be in extract form. I haven't found much information on combinations, or safe things to add to or prolong a certain mind-state....so I figure here is the best place to start it...and maybe I'll get to reap the benefits

screw yohimbe...and all stimulants. They lose efficacy too fast. Maybe for a quickie, it would work...too bad I have to wait around.
Instead I've switched to passionflower and valerian combo for a lucid state. Seems to be my favorite reliable niche. Hope this was helpful for somebody |

lol! That stuff is the super-boner supplement african tribes would use for three day orgies as I understand it. I was trying to get some to repair a broken marriage a few years ago. Anyways you could supplement with Viagra, naturally or I just go buy a kg of L-Arginine L-Pyroglutamate from purebulk.com and take with Tribulus Terrestis - screw like crazy on that concoction, L-Arg L-Pyr is a Viagra precursor apparently.
People have messed with mega dosing B6 I think for sexual stamina as well, maybe it was B5, you will have to google around a bit I cannot remember. |

What do you ultimately want to achieve? Just cool combos to mess around with?

I was messing around with interesting combos. I've stuck with some basic things such as l-tryptophan, fish oil, an alright seeming multi, and this amino complex that I came across. Not sure what else to add

I would try piracetam for sure.
Try adding each of these ingredients one at a time: www.westga.edu/~gems/.../Red%20Dawn%20final%20report.doc Morning glory could be alright, but you will probably get side effects. Maybe low dose kava? |

Ill have to read your article another time on separate additions.
As far as morning glory goes, I would assume its serving as a potentiator? Maybe you could clarify why I would like to add that. Low doses of kava: does that actually build up efficacy over time? |

Just a students crappy lab report, on what is actually in a companies product. It is called a Vector Shot if you are interested in the product itself. You should be able to find ingredients, it is nothing too fancy.

It is worth a try. As far as yohimbe products go, it has the most promise.

Wow thats an interesting side effect from Yohimbine...from wikipedia:
Yohimbine has been used to facilitate recall of traumatic memories in the treatment of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).[10] Use of yohimbine outside therapeutic settings may not be appropriate for persons suffering from PTSD.[11] And the actual side-effects are something to take in count: Higher doses of oral yohimbine may create numerous side effects, such as rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, overstimulation, insomnia and/or sleeplessness. Some effects in rare cases were panic attacks, hallucinations, headaches, dizziness, and skin flushing.[20] More serious adverse effects may include seizures and renal failure. Yohimbine should not be consumed by anyone with liver, kidney, heart disease, or a psychological disorder.[20] The therapeutic index of yohimbine is quite low; the range between an effective dose and a dangerous dose is very narrow.[20] This may also lead to precipitation of panic disorder type reactions. Yohimbine in combination with modafinil causes dangerous acute rapid heart beat and acute increased blood pressure. What makes it worth a try in your opinion? Sexual performance? Does it work so well? |

Not very severe side effects IMO. Pretty standard for stimulants. I bet if you use yohimbe (the actual spice) in small quantities, it may be therapeutic. Note that all studies use yohimbine which is a very different beast from bark caps. Yohimbine is only the alkaloid--this is the same case as ephedra and ephedrine. I personally believe the whole herb is much safer in both cases. It is much more difficult to overdose on the whole herb, as opposed to pure alkaloid.

Low doses of kava: does that actually build up efficacy over time? Do you mean does Kava Kava accumulate in the body?, ie some drugs, NuVigil , after steady state acquired, the serum levels are 1.8X compared to non steady dosing state, where as Celexa, does not accumulate, X stays 1X over time. To my knowledge it is not well established if kava accumulates , its bio clearance is usually short, like ethanol, though different pyrones/lactones may behave in a different manner. From my experience, Kava produces X effect, and generally keeps producing that effect, higher doses are needed to achieve heightened effect. |
