I have tried lucid dreaming with dramatic effect. Has anyone else tried it? I haven't done it lately, but when I did it was really something. It does alter your state of waking consciousness.

These are part of a normal/typical diet. So what are the supplemental doses you use? Any side-effects?

Yup. Nightmares. Sometimes
I don't remember the exact dosage. That was a loong time ago when I could afford to try stuff out. These days I'm on a very limited budget and stick with what I feel need. (aniracetam/centrophexine)

One re-occurring weird & annoying effect I remember is that I would take it an hour before I would go to sleep, then right when I was half-sleep, I would have these visions of my computer monitor being touch screen and hovering on top while I was still lying flat on my bed. I would be googling stuff moving pictures and articles "minority report" style. The novelty of that wore off quickly though. I guess whatever you do right before you go to bed has an impact on the first dreams you have.

I don't remember experiencing the typical disassociation effects people report to feel the morning after.
