Anyone here know exactly what metanicotine is?

It was originally developed by Wake Forest University by Eisenach, James C. Targacept later took this compound to begin developing partial nicotine agonist medications off of.

I was wondering how many of these medications are based off of metanicotine (or altered variations of this)?

Anyone with familiar with this stuff? I was just reading about it the other day.
