A consciousness singularity could never be sufficient, as the dead will not be part of it. And some of them were, well, irreplaceable. So humankind can never be "complete", "enough" or "satisfied"? I'm listening to Nick Drake and I know that the singularity will not be enough without his mind. So, what of the dead?

Maybe I'm thinking too hard about this. I have to of course, because as an oldie (ish) I might be gone before the CS arrives!

Your should listen - Nick Drake. I saw two films lately, just out, one was "What Just Happened." Still, they can't better his words and music and the feelings they bring. Nick died in 1974. He was too much, too good, too talented to continue, beyond what we deserve. Listen to "Fly". You'll see what I mean. And Hazey Jane, and Northern Sky. I found him only a few years ago. So, so many years had gone by in my life without his words. Do have a listen. I can email songs if you have trouble finding them. I have them all.

There is none? Blunt is good, as I can't stand time (or vitamin) wasting! At least with vitamins the microbes in the sewage treatment works get their micronutrients. But time (at least mine) goes only in the one direction and I have a limited supply.
