So I ordered $175 worth of nootropics from bulknutrition, and Canadian Customs ceased it. A lady phoned me and told me I need to supply her with the ingredients in the nootropics. She told me she is trying to contact Bulknutrition to get this information.
Is there anything I can do to get my package? Also, this package got ceased through Priority shipping. My last order did not get ceased, it was just standard shipping. Is my order less likely to get ceased through regular shipping? Are there any Canadian suppliers? |

So the items I ordered are:
Acetyl-L-Carnitine Powder Piracetam Powder Taurine Powder Aniracetam Powder L-Theanine Powder Alpha-GPC Powder 50% I'm guessing they just need the ingredients for Carnitine, piracetam, aniracetam and alpha-gpc? Is there a place where I can find this information? If I am correct, these are the ingredients I found - Piracetam - 2-oxo-1-pyrrolidine acetamide Carnitine - L-carnitine - trimethylated amino acid Taurine - 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid Aniracetam - 1-[(4-methoxyphenyl)]- 2-pyrrolidinone L-Theanine - amino acid - Camellia sinensis Alpha-GPC - Alpha-glycerylphosphorylcholine - choline Is there any more info on these? Thanks |

You may want to try Unique Nutrition next time they seem to get through customs without problem. Also their prices are better. Due to the nature of the products you can not find a Canadian supplier. |

I guess I will have to try your UN. Although I see that BN has a lot of cheaper bulk products.
I wonder if UN nootropics make it into Canada because of USPS shipping? |

UN has a rep for getting orders through Canada customs without taxes or duties or problems. Bulk Nutrition has more bulk items in general but UN has better prices for bulk nootropics. |

Also remember that price is not everything, you get what you pay for and when you are buying products that go into your body its better to take the premium with assurance of quality. Theres been everything found in pills from garbage to clothing. |

Theres been everything found in pills from garbage to clothing. True, I noticed that UN has been around for a while so I'm sure this is a good thing. My updated stack (also cost per month): Deprenyl - Selegine - 4.50/month Aniracetam - UN - 10.00 Vinpocetine - UN - 12.50 Phenibut - UN - 7.30 Alpha-GPC - UN - 15.00 Jarrow Magnesium Optimizer (Magnesium, Potassium, Taurine) - VC - 6.24 NSI Ultra 357 Energy Complex (Siberian Ginseng, Royal Gelly, Gotu Kola) - VC - 8.00 NSI American Ginseng - VC - 2.50 NSI L-Tyrosine - VC - 2.50 NSI Passion Flower - VC - 3.00 NSI B-100 - VC - 1.50 NSI B5 - VC - 1.60 NSI L-Theanine From Suntheanine - VC - 15.54 (2) NSI Mega EFA Omega-4 EPA & DHA - VC - 5.50 Taurine - VC - 6.90 Bacopa - BN - 3.00 I generally have a lot of energy, it feels like I'm ahead of other people or more aware. These supplements are for relaxation as I feel very stimulated at times. It's odd how sensitive I am to coffee, the nervous energy I get from caffeine is what makes me realize this is what I need to overcome. Also, are there any negative effects when consuming large doses of Piracetam, bacopa or ashwagandha? Yesterday I took 3 7 gram doses of Piracetam and by the end of the night I was in a very aware state and could feel my cognition had improved. I would like to play around with high doses at first if that is OK, just to bring into awareness the effects. |

I have received outstanding service from Bio-Genesis. They include an insert in the packaging outlining the legality of importation, citing laws and cases, while providing fact sheets for the supplements which describes the ingredients and usage.

Canada has a Food and Drug Administration. It requires itemized ingredients for comsumer protection for various reasons quite likely. An alergic reaction on a grand scale can cause a Class Action Suit. It may put smaller parties out of business and leave injured parties damaged and without recourse. Other seemingly necessary factors weigh upon this matter with customs practices as well. I am neutral to this cause. But I know that you will probably have to wait until this product is labelled differently to expect not to have further difficulty receiving these particular goods. Peter from Canada |

You are going to have a problem with some of those ingredients.
Carnitine for one, is not allowed to be sold in Canada. I am an ex-patriot, glad I live in the US for a lot of reasons, but thinking of moving back to Toronto for many others. |

This thread is # 1 result on Google Search for "buy piracetam canada" (without quotes).
So CerebralHealth is a legit company? They wont ship me just placebo powder, fake stuff that many online pharmacies sell? Is there a way to test if it actually contains Piracetam? |

It is definitely worth it to buy in bulk, especially given the shipping!. I also think it is nice to invest in a set up to fill your own gel caps so you don't have to deal with the taste.

It only costs CerebalHealth at most $5 for shipping. But they gouge us Canadians by charging $15 for shipping 100 grams of Piracetam in a brown envelope. It comes in a silver bag, which has Piracetam powder. I expected atleast Priority Shipping for $15, but they sent it using the slow mail. |

It does not cost us at most $5 for shipping. The $15 flat rate shipping charge applies to all orders to Canada whether you buy 100 grams or 5 kilograms. To ship 5 kilograms to Canada costs much more than $15 (and certainly more than $5).

It costs us about $2-2.50 to ship a CD outside the United States, so I imagine supplements could get quite pricey. |
