How the hell am I supposed to know?
What’s real, what’s not, where does it go?
In a paradise of teeth
Spoils of weather from beneath
They think you’re crazy if you mumble
Watch me, learn and listen as I stumble

In a garden with no flowers
In a river with no drowning
Where does it end?

I used to think I knew everything
That I’d wake up one day, and it would be bright as spring
But those voices in the room
Why should that bother me to gloom?
Is this fiction in a picture?
Is this day just made of clay?
Am I stumbling over the rocks?
That lies underneath your eyes
This is what you really despise

I used to think I could trust you
Well guess what, I’m blue
And I don’t trust anybody,
Nobody
That’s what I do

The words are like shallow cuts
There’s no healing for them now
All the scabs lie in the trust
Evil provokes how?
How you ask
With your voice sounding tired, and the halls of dust?
What you seek cannot be found
In the depths of the hollow ground
To know is to feel
And to feel is to know
