It seems that there is a bit of plagiarism going on here. I thought that perhaps misty was just posting under another name here, but as it turns out there are now 3 instances with separate user/nicknames on the same forum.

Moderators please investigate and take care of this matter.

Not easy to do. I looked at darkpoetry after your post elsewhere. The authors have almost no personal details so they cannot be compared.

I suppose that plagiarism is inevitable on the internet, but it is quite easy to paste parts of a submission into Google and see if it has been used elsewhere. What we can or want to do about it is a different matter. For example, I post some of my poetry at two or three different forums. There is nothing wrong with that as I composed them and the copyright belongs to me. There is no way that I personally can spend time testing every submitted item.

Have you any suggestions?

The IP addresses logged at the OTHER forums will show two different users...this will be easy to validate by contacting them..(Ill do this for you if you want) and then of course posting what Misty posted here to the moderators on the darkpoetry site. This will lead to us knowing the truth, and my suggestion is delete ALL of Misty's posts, get the IP address of the last session, and contact abuse@missty's isp.com for breach of the TOS or AUP.

I use a different username and email address on forums where I post duplicates of my poetry.

Perhaps misty could comment on this matter first. I have altered the topic title to attract her attention. I have also PM'ed her.

Yes, but I bet that the IP addresses on the darkpoetry site will
a) show that the users have different ISP's
or
cool.gif be in completely different locations at the same time.

The nicks are inconsequential. IP addresses show location and provider details. And I do not see a reasonable explanation for Misty to have 3 different names on ONE forum. As things stand the original poets from darkpoetry (I have contacted them) have already confirmed that they are indeed 3 different people and none of them are members on brainmeta

Lets see what comes of it. But I suspect there will be silence
