aw hell not again. On that note, Trips not in the box, you are, your so engulfed in the idea that there must be multi-dimensions, alternate planes and whatnot that you have put yourself in the box. The people at BrainMeta are picky when it comes to how material is presented, unless you write things in a professional and no preaching BS manner, no one will take you seriously. Many people talk about alternate realities, higher conciousness and collective consciousness on this forum, they however write it professionally and with supporting facts rather than giving a sunday sermon.

Granma, I'm all over, around, under, above, in, and out of the multi-dimensional box.

Am I in your box?

I'll allow this for now provided the initial poster discusses this belief in further detail and shares their experience.

Nice work! A box, suspended in mid-air. Is Mr. Jack in it? or is it a cat that is neither dead nor alive? Just kidding Trip. Please tell us more about this particular work. It stands out.

For those who bully the OP: Did you read the linked article? Did you attend its contents closely? Its packaging may not resemble what you are used to. Its language may not be your own. But there is an essence there that is sincere and poingnant. You have an idea of what is professional that excludes.

Many websites today contain pseudo-sensible information wrapped in mythological types of 'envelopes'.

They may well benefit and suit some readers, but I suspect that most members and visitors to Brainmeta require plainly stated ideas of ways forward in resolving all types of human problems, ie., no waffle or mystical sounding categorisations!

"One mans meat is another mans poison", and I suspect that this is the reason for most complaints about 'preaching' and 'advertising' in various posts.
It is necessary to target ones potential customers carefully, and realise that preaching to non-listeners does not earn brownie points: on the contrary it can cause even more resistance, which may reflect badly on the originator.

Would we also complain if Jesus Christ were preaching right now ?
Would we crucify Him again for that !?

Anyhow, in today´s world we are flooded by preaching from all sides: Internet, TV, newspapers, Pop and rock singers, movies, etc., etc.
What makes the difference is what is being preached -- the same rubbish, the same nonsense, the same mediocrity.., or something really meaningful and worthy.

Yeah, you're right. Your members and moderators are probably justified in belittling the OP because he does not conform to your internet behavioral/intellectual standards rather than simply leaving the thread to those who are interested. The mission statement on the front of this site definately does not sound particularly mystical.

Thanks CB....it is an old piece from 2001, and was a social commentary on mass consumption and the state of western Canada's (BC) forestry industry. It was filled with Jack Pine sawdust that fell out of a hole that was centered at the base of the box. There was a drum stick on the box that gallery goers would instinctively pick up and start tapping the box (an earth^2) which would cause the sawdust to fall out. How ever much dust you discharged paralled the kind of consumer that you were.

Oddly enough....I eventually hung it from a tree in the forest and bees took it over and transformed the inside into a hive.

....another way to look at it is as a mechanized world picture and the newtownian/cartesian regime of thought, and the societal implications, applications, and ramifications of....back in the day when the earth was flat, square, masculine, and the center of the universe.

ohh, the mathematics and geoetry of it all....today with both the symetrical (mas.?) and asymetrical (fem.?) type. Whatever, the code....it's still rock'n'roll to me.

....ponder this while listening to some bonobo!
