Between Darkness and Destiny

And now to write
And so good night
Whether anyone reads or not

Some say they do
So maybe you
Have read a little bit of what
I found in the dark
In search of a spark
Of meaning along the way
Gleaned from the gloom observed then brought
Out into the light of day
Returned from where
Among the stars the world is small
Attempting to make some sense of it all

I share from there
Such insight as I might seeking see
In the night between darkness and destiny
