I am unwritten
Can't read my mind I'm undefined I'm just beginning The pen's in my hand Ending unplanned Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your inhibitions I break tradition Sometimes my tries Are outside the lines We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten |

I'd like to hear this sung. We must try and ask Shawn if we can have an mp3 upload facility.

You've probably heard it before. The song is incredibly popular and overplayed on mainstream radio stations (it has a catchy tune). But I think Natasha Bedington's lyrics set her apart from your typical pop artist.
If you want to hear the song, I happened upon this myspace URL. One of Bedingfield's songs starts playing automatically, but if you click "Unwritten" (upper right), you can hear the whole song. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=10108314 Here's some info on Bedingfield. Yet another talented musician from the UK. http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/bedingfield_natasha/bio.jhtml |
