The wrap of the wind –
Around her bare waist,
Feathers her loneliness.

The touch of the leaves -
Gently caressing her cheek,
Eases her desire.

The Braille of the wave –
Trickling her naked flesh,
Quenches her core.

The hope of the sands –
Comforting her sapped soles,
Rejuvenates her passion.

It is golden footprints –
Surrounding her spirit,
That journey her home.

Footprints in the sand
And in the heart.
The desire to be home again.
I love your art
Your passion

Misty, this is so beautiful, so caressingly sensual; I am deeply touched by it, and thank you for creating and sharing it here.

You are a beautiful, beautiful poet.

Love,

+Stevie
