higher and higher
seeing through the rain of tears and confusion and passion and truth the next day will come whether here or in memories of late or dust soaring high as wonder to fall and feel the fear but no within the clouds caught by arms unknown higher still and higher the best has come i understand ©2005 Hey Hey |

And better and better as well and no mistake!
This has a beautiful soaring ethereality to it, you know, like some sort of celestial spiral stairway; it is delightful in sound and sense and sight all three, it plays well on the page before the eye. I am really enjoying your work, especially today. "And there fell as it were from my eyes scales." Not only scales to cover but to weigh; now I float aweigh away, Hey Hey. Cheers then, +Stevie |

Dear Steven, I'm trying to be optimistic, but it's hard. You know why. Thanks for reading this; it has few words but took a long time to write. I knew you'd understand. Thank God you're back.

Yes, my friend, you are quite positivaly absolutaly deed and do, but also it is ripsnortingly good poetry, a regular helix, says I, stepping out on an unfamiliar limb like a fool... yes, helix sounds good.
It is concrete, you know? Very nice; I love when you do that. I'm glad I'm back too. Lord a mercy, what a rush; zip zip zip! People don't need to shoot heroin when there is such magic to be found in this mad life of ours; who on earth could have predicted I'd ever be happy? I simply can't believe what a Lucky Little Bastard I really am. Well, Deo gratias. Never a better Easter and Easter Monday in me mortal span than this and these of magic, and at this late hour. Alleluia, und so weiter. Do stay strong, will you? You write so well that it surely must help; it certainly helps us out here on the outside of you: it can't hurt the inside of you. I thought I had gone mad, and all the way, and writing those two long poems recently helped me tremendously, better than any medication, that's for sure. Chemicals only go so far, which is not very, in my case. At least I hardly even bother with them, sniffing at the wrong tree as that would be, and no booze even at all anymore... SSRIs don't seem to be the key to me. I think the only remedy is love. That's all. Love. Thank God you're back too. Let's stay here and not float aweigh away, Hey Hey? OK. Say, isn't that RMBOD a fine fella? Such magnificent couplets! He does it all in heroic couplets. A wonder! My God, I thought he was English; I was so surprised to find otherwise. Say, RMBOD, are your ears burning? I mean to say you are a fine, a very fine, a superfine poet; I think you are much better than I am, and certainly much saner. If you are reading these my words (do I digress, Hey Hey? I guess!), RMBOD, I want to thank you with all my heart for being so wonderful to me during my illness. What a wonderful addition to our group you are. Kevin always tells me to get back up on that pony and ride; isn't that great? I love that. It's actually quite therapeutic in its effect when he says that. I seem to be rambling, so I'll sign off now and see what the post has brought. No letter-bombs, I trust (they come by email nowadays, in any case!). Cheers then, and carry on, +Stevie |

THE KEY TO YOUR HEART You've chosen your words in a careful way. To give such high praise, your so thoughtful to say. I'm equally thrilled to discover your verses. If only you knew the joy it disperses. I'm so thankful dear Steve to have made your acquaintance. The pleasure's all mine while I savor each sentence. As for expression, you're on the right track. For the poetic arts, you have the knack. The door to your heart only opens one way, To the inner sanctum where you hold sway. To unlocking the door, risk is the key. Face your fear to let ultimate happiness free. Your beautiful heart keeps touching mine. So don't be afraid to let your light shine. Others will see the beauty within. But only you can let them in. When you open the door, you could let in sorrow. But you may learn to love like there's no tomorrow. Be mindful to know that a wounded heart heals. And the “greatest of gifts” is the love that it feels. RMB,OD 03/30/2005 Fine work Hey Hey and thanks again for sharing your beautful works here. |
