Yes, gods, demons, hobgoblins, superstions of all kinds, will have a great future as long as humans remain sub-superhuman.

Ok, but which god? Zeus? Mazda? Rama? I kind of like the Hawaiian god Kane, god of life.

Reverence for life and being grateful for being alive. Not enough for you? Then wish you were immortal. How ungrateful is that? "Yes, God, thanks for the gift of life, but I demand more!"

To me this life is enough. I don't require an immortality that is not mine to demand. I will take what I am given with gratitude. How really small and selfish the religionists are! Worshiping an imaginary deity in the hopes of receiving some more scraps from the table!

Lamby is not Enki. Completely different style and viewpoint.

Nothing wrong in asking why. Was my answer not complete? Spiritual = reverence and gratitude.

An "ology" is by definition science, but there's no subject (theo) there. No god exists, hence a science without a subject.

But on the subject of gods, i.e., imaginary objects, there could be a science. An investigation of unfounded beliefs.

I do know the definitions Rick, after all I have three science degrees and taught science in universities for 20 years! My comment was meant to be unsubtley sarcastic. Maybe I will need to be more subtle in future. But on the gist of the term, I think that we are in agreement.

I would like to know which b*tch from the moderators erased it.

Presumably I guess who is that very b*tch: the b*tch from England.

I did it on the presumption that you were the latest personification of an unwelcomed guest 'from far away land' (hint) here in this forum. If you are, please stay away. If you are not, my apologies. It won't happen again.

Atheism is the new religion and the new gods are the Mankind and technology. Being those able to provide humanity of everything that god promise and didnt really bother to give us, why should we wait for him with enough technology around to suply us with what human ever wish?
Why should god give us something we are already able to develope by ourselves?

Im not really saying god doesnt exist (doubt is not true knowledge) but we will manage better without him than just depending on him to solve our problems and being a crying demanding childs. Its time to grow up and fly from gods home.

It looks like that the Global Consciousness reacted at your joke, who knows maybe GC reads Brain Meta sometimes (see below):

Just read this:

US carriers CANCELS Europe flights due to ash

ATLANTA, April 15 (Reuters) - US airlines canceled half their trans-Atlantic service on Thursday because of a gigantic ash cloud spewing from a volcano in Iceland that has closed airports in northern Europe, industry officials said.

QUOTE

From Times Online
April 18, 2010
Volcanic ash grounds Britain for days to come

Britain faces being grounded for the coming week as the cloud of volcanic ash hovering over the country threatens to stay put until Friday.

The Met Office warned that northerly winds are pushing it south from Iceland rather than sending it eastwards towards Scandinavia, amid fears that the travel crisis could drag on indefinitely.

All flights to and from Britain have been cancelled until at least 7pm tonight today but this deadline may be pushed back again. BA and Ryanair said their earliest flights would be tomorrow, although test flights by the Dutch and Swiss appeared to be successful.

%50 of European flights cancellation is something serious indeed. And so near to England...

Who knows maybe the holy tree Ey[h]wa of the nation Navi (on Hebrew it means teacher) so much respected by Ms. TsAHIK (the birthday of actress playing in the film is 25 December) from AavaTar movie has specific sense of humor or is very angry onto something?

Ash and ice_land, what does it mean? Maybe in this way things look more clear: AsH and ice_Land? A crypt of God or a code of something?! What that may mean???

Btw, the Mount's name is Eyjafjallajokull (ay-yah-FYAH'-plah-yer-kuh-duhl)..., so all the mentioned definitely heralds something, but it is so hard to guess what exactly all these heralds.

It is so hard for me to disclose that complex puzzle to understand why that electro-conductive Smaug (I mean Smoke) extended its Draconian claws over the Europe?

===

To Code: I do really hope that you shall restore the deleted letter I wrote to Mr. Rick.

Btw Code have you watched the movie I mentioned in the post you deleted, I mean: "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010)" ??? The personages in that movie also like to play with letters just like the ...
